2016 Honda HR-V:

In the year 2016, the company is offering all new 2016 Honda HR-V.

Keeping in view the sales as well as girth of the CR-V, the company found an opportunity to come up with an entry-level crossover SUV model. Hence, company engineers sat together and introduced the all-new 2016 Honda HR-V. In a light mood, it can be said that in case Honda’s Pilot is mama, CR-V is mama then Honda HR-V is the baby of the family.

Being the baby of the family does not mean that 2016 Honda HR-V lacks utility. Just the way subcompact is offering, the HR-V has what is offered by Honda that is “magic seat”, that is a rear seat configured giving an added capability to the vehicle to carry huge and long cargo items with ease. The 2016 Honda HR-V offers high fuel economy, with a sporty drive. It is available with all-wheel drive paired with collection of convenience and technical features. In case you are willing to possess a crossover SUV but you see mainstays to be little expensive then, no doubt 2016 Honda HR-V meets all your needs and requirements.
The 2016 Honda HR-V is part of a growing group of subcompact offerings. The segment includes several vehicles like Jeep Renegade boasting off the best off the road credentials. Another name is Nissan’s Juke which is more powerful as compared to the 2016 Honda HR-V but offers lesser space than the one offered by 2016 Honda HR-V. Mazda CX-3 is a new option in the segment distilling the sporty look in to a smaller package. Stylish Fiat 500 is also an option to be selected. Honda’s baby is no doubt there to offer an ideal pack for its buyers in every manner.

Performance of the 2016 Honda HR-V:
The 2016 Honda HR-V is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. It offers 141 horsepower and 127-pound feet of torque. The engine comes with six speed manual transmission for the EX, LX and front wheel drive. Continuously variable transmission is optional on these trim levels and on EX-L Navi is offered as standard. All-wheel drive is offered on all three trim levels but with CVT alone.
In a test, the 2016 Honda HR-V Navi with AWD reached to 60 miles per hour from 0 in 9.7 seconds only. No doubt, this is slower as compared to the values offered by the other vehicles in segment.
According to EPA, the HR-V with front drive offers 28 miles per gallon combined i.e. 25 miles per gallon within the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway. With the manual transmission these values are 31 miles per gallon combined i.e. 28 miles per gallon within the city and 35 miles per gallon with CVT. All-wheel drive option reduces these values to 29 miles per gallon combined i.e. 27 miles per gallon within the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway.

Safety features offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V:
Safety features offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V are as follows:
•    antilock disc brakes
•    stability control
•    traction control
•    front seat side airbags
•    side curtain airbags
•    a rearview camera
•    blind spot display
In a safety test, the antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and a rearview camera stopped from 60 miles per hour in 124 feet. It is an average distance indeed.

Interior Design and Special Features offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V:

All the trim levels including the base trim offers impressive interior amenities and design. Exiting and entering the vehicle is very easy and as soon as you enter the vehicle, you will get a royal feeling. The gauges are visible and pretty much user friendly. Interface of the 7 inch touch screen is also pretty much simple and user friendly.   Seating offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V pretty much comfortable for four adults.
Cargo space offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V is 24.3 cubic feet for luggage. Folding the seats offer 58.8 cubic feet and this is excellent in this class in every manner. All-wheel drive has lesser space.

Driving impressions of the 2016 Honda HR-V:

Though the gas consumption offered by the 2016 Honda HR-V is pretty much attractive but at the same time with 1.8-liter engine the power offered by the car is not attractive. When on highway or in town driving, the car offers relaxed and sufficient ride but when you push the car harder, you will see it to be sluggish.  The engine is noisy to some extent as well.
Regardless of the power performance, the 2016 Honda HR-V pleases its users with its composed and refined driving experience. Another attractive feature is the small size and clear visibility offered by this wonderful car.
In short, the 2016 Honda HR-V has been equipped with all the features meeting needs of the modern world.
